Who am I?
Hello! I am Leslie Tartt. I am a 20-year-old journalism student at the University of Houston. However, my permanent home is located in Virginia. My main passion is writing and it has been that for as long as I can remember. I started writing when I was six years old. I would write short stories for my grandmother to read or I would write her letters. Writing has always played an important role in my life as it is my way to express myself and display my talents.
In college, I purposely take as many writing classes as I can, so that I can further my writing skills even outside of journalism. I want to be the best writer I can possibly be and so I work hard to achieve that goal.
In the future, I hope to write for a living as a feature writer or a columnist, but I’m always open to trying new things. It’s new experiences that allow you to strengthen your skills!
